Order Approval Policy

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all artwork, mockups, spelling, colors, sizes, and order details before production begins.

Once artwork and order details have been approved, Life & Thread is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved design.

Production Times

Standard production times typically range from 7-14 business days after artwork approval and payment, depending on order size and workload.

Rush orders may be available for an additional fee and are subject to scheduling availability.

Production times are estimates and may vary during peak seasons.

Custom Order Policy

Because all products are custom-made, orders cannot be canceled once production has started.

Heat Press

Returns & Refunds

Due to the customized nature of our products, all sales are final.

Returns, exchanges, or refunds will only be considered if:

The wrong item was produced.
The item contains a manufacturing defect.
The customization differs from the approved artwork.

Claims must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the order.

Garment Disclaimer

Life & Thread is not responsible for manufacturer defects, color variations, shrinkage, or inconsistencies inherent to blank garments supplied by third-party manufacturers.

Color variations may occur between digital mockups and finished products.

Customer-Supplied Garments

Customers may provide their own garments for decoration. While we take every precaution, Life & Thread is not responsible for damage, defects, or replacement costs for customer-supplied items during the decoration process.

Shipping Policy

Shipping times are separate from production times.

Once an order leaves our facility, Life & Thread is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Free Quotes

Life & Thread provides free estimates for all custom apparel and embroidery projects.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Pricing may change due to garment availability, supplier pricing, artwork revisions, or order quantity adjustments.

Minimum order quantities may apply depending on the garment type, decoration method, and customization requirements.

Artwork Requirements

For best results, vector artwork (.AI, .EPS, .SVG, or PDF) is preferred.

If artwork requires recreation, digitizing, cleanup, or design work, additional fees may apply.

Customers will be notified of any artwork fees before production begins.

Embroidery Digitizing

Embroidery designs require digitizing before production.

A one-time digitizing fee may apply for new logos or artwork.

Digitized files remain the property of Life & Thread unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Production will not begin until final approval is received.

Once approved, changes may result in additional charges and production delays.

New customers may be required to pay 100% upfront before production begins.

For approved business accounts, payment terms may be arranged separately.

Orders are not scheduled for production until payment requirements have been met.

Customer-Supplied Garments

Life & Thread accepts customer-supplied garments on a case-by-case basis.

While every precaution is taken, we cannot guarantee against damage, misprints, hoop marks, embroidery defects, or garment failure during the decoration process.

Replacement of customer-supplied items is the customer’s responsibility.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before production begins.

Once production, embroidery, printing, or garment ordering has started, cancellation fees may apply.

Completed custom orders cannot be canceled.

Reorders

We strive to maintain consistency between orders; however, slight variations in thread color, garment dye lots, print placement, and sizing may occur between production runs.
